#SONA2020’s fashion faux pas’ moments

‘What a joke my darling.’ – Evodia Mogase

As expected, the proceedings at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State of The Nation Address quickly spiralled into the unruly circus show annually promised by Julius Malema’s EFF & Associates.

However, the SONA 2020 Red Carpet offered more captivating and colourful entertainment as we got to see the politicians, who make the decisions for our country on the daily, have their moment in the fashion spotlight.

The likes of Mandla Mandela and his wife Raabia, actress Ntando Duma, Minister of Police Bheki Cele and his wife Thembeka Ngcobo, Mthokozisi Nxumalo and Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi of the Inkatha Freedom Party all hit the mark in their African chic fashion choices. However, a few guests fell short of red-carpet grace. So, here is a list featuring SONA 2020’s fashion faux pas’ red carpet moments.
